LIVINGSTONE FAILURE TO APOLOGISE 'DEEPLY REGRETTABLE'

Commenting on the refusal of Ken Livingstone to apologise for the remarks made to an Evening Standard reporter likening him to a 'concentration camp guard', Liberal Democrat London Assembly member, Sally Hamwee, said:-

"It is deeply regrettable that the Mayor has failed yet again to take the opportunity to apologise to both the reporter and Londoners for his inappropriate, insensitive and indefensible comments."
