Lynne Featherstone and Julia Harrison

Lynne Featherstone, London Assembly member, welcomed former New York City councillor Julia Harrison to City Hall this week.

Lynne, who was a guest of Ms Harrison's when she visited New York in 2002 on a London Assembly fact-finding tour, was delighted to reciprocate the invitation and show Ms Harrison around the new home of London democracy.

Ms Harrison represented Flushing (Queens) for 16 years until she stepped down last year.
